Latter-day Saints in Utah Valley are welcoming all visitors to the temple, which has been built just northwest of Utah Lake, starting this weekend. The public open house will last for three full months, until July 8th. Specially-invited guests are beginning their tours of the new temple today. Prior to the open house on Saturday, the Church has released many stunning photos of the finished interior of the beautiful temple. “The design cues and color palette of the temple are inspired by the blues, purples, golds and greens of surrounding flora and fauna, such as wildflowers, marsh grass, reeds and the snowy egrets,” a Church Newsroom press release said.
